I love that this past Sunday gave me the opportunity to be with the kiddos, catch up on things and get creative in my Studio. What was even more special is my daughter wanted to make them too with her friend. I decided it was a good day to do this. We pulled out our favorite DecoArt Gloss Enamels and some glitter and went at it.
Simple steps for simple ornaments......
- Add adhesive inside ornament and empty excess. I recommend DecoArt Ornament Glitter Adhesive
- Add fine glitter on inside and shake all around until completely covered. Remove excess and save.
- Decorate outside with doodles and fun words to represent your holiday using DecoArt Glass Paint Markers and 3D Opaque Gloss Enamels Glass Writers. The thin tip make it so easy to doodle and write!
Have fun and LET IT GO...doodle and make them meaningful to you. I put words on them which represent what the holidays mean to me.
What I loved about this project is the girls got into it with me and had so much fun (I even heard a "Micky, your mom is so cool").....
Here is all you need...
Simple and fun.
Thanks DecoArt for rocking our Christmas fun around here! I so want the kids to remember project like these. Happy Holidays and remember to make special memories like this.
"The trick is to enjoy your life today. Don’t wish it away by waiting for better days ahead."
I pin-great craft for kids and senior kids like me.
