Mixed Media Monday Re-Cap 4/8/13 - "Breathe"

What an amazing weekend that took me to a place I love...the water. On or around the water is where I Breathe..my happy place. It was to the Colorado River this weekend...

This weeks Mixed Media Monday was inspired by my place of happiness...the beach.

MATERIALS LIST: Gesso, Dimensional Effects Texture Paste & Paints (DecoArt - Cocoa, Pumpkin, Deep Midnight Blue, Saffron Yellow, Fawn), Decoupage (Beacons Spray Decoupage & Sealer), Stencils (The Crafter's Workshop), Ink: Marvy Heritage Ink Pad & Stayz On, PanPastels

This was all about playing out of the box and adding lots of tecture...I was "ok" with it as I said over and over again :)

I will tell you that this part of my weekend left me white knuckled and NOT BREATHING!...

Hi, Tracy, just finished watching last night's video and I am so thrilled about the page you created. Water, too, is "it" for me! Love how you created your title! Am working on my APRIL DARE, so count me in on that!!
