I was just thinking the other day that I have not had a good school project sprung on me in awhile and bam...twins needed to make Edibule Cells. Don't you love it when they spring those projects on you? Actually this time I found out about it on Sunday and they were due Tuesday so that is a TON of time in Mom-World!
Sunday it was out for candy, tortillas and fruit to make our Edible Animal and Plant Cells (because of course the twins cannot make the same thing and make it easier on Mom). And, since I have to do two what is one more kiddo to join us. The more the merrier :)
Actually we had a great time and unlike building California Missions this one was a piece of cake. I even let the kid's contribute this time ;)
Ever wonder what an edible animal cell looks like......wonder no more!
Yet again being crafty came in handy and with a little bit of glue we had some very strong cells to turn in! Here's to all the Mom's (and Dad's) who spring into action on those school projects! I do know those days are numbered!
"Time passes quickly, and if you’re lucky enough, you’ll live long enough to marvel at the memories."
Glad you let them help this time:)! Looks like fun. I remember a brain out of cauliflower. Kind of miss those days!

Looks like they were fun to make....but tell me, how can they be edible if you added glue?

Thanks Kay! They were fun to do and even better since they did not spring on me the last minute :)

No eating those LOL. Just had to be made of edible stuff but I wanted to make sure they did not fall apart or roll around :)
