Thank you for joining me for Week #1 in our canvas art journal! The first thing you need to know is I will be listing items I suggest you have on hand but they are not necessary! I will also make suggestions of substitution products. Plus you know me......I want you to use what you have on hand. Plu every page I create turns out different.
You will want to gesso the front and back covers of your 8.5 X 11" album. In fact, you can prime every page with white gesso prior to us starting.....take a peek HERE for a little YouTube video I made:
Once you have that done we are ready to get started. We are going to start with our front and back face covers:
Here are some recommended supplies/tools I suggest:
-
Paints - DecoArt Acrylic recommended in your favorite colors
-
Mists - Maya Road or Tattered Angels
-
Ink - (Black) Daler Rowney
-
Template - The Crafter's Workshop (Flutterby TCW206)
-
Large Flower - Available in dried flower section at Michael's
-
Large Letters - Making Memories Foam Stamps
-
Stamp Ink - Marvy Heritage Ink Pads

See you Monday!
"True happiness comes from within, not from someone else. Don’t make the mistake of waiting on someone or something to come along and make you happy."
This may be a really dumb question, but what is in the kit? It doesn't include the supplies like mists, templates, paints, etc. . . Does it?

Maureen,
We are just buying the canvas journals. That way we can use what we have on hand. She just gives us suggestions on what to use. That way it cut our cost and Tracy's time. :-) So glad to see you posting!!!! :-) Hugs,
Andy

As Andy said, the kit is the 2-pack journal set that you already purchased. I have not kitted with other supplies so encourage you to use what you have on hand.
