I think I have a new song for Mondays from the Mommas and the Papas:
"Monday Monday, so good to me,
Monday Monday, it was all I hoped it would be
Oh Monday morning, Monday morning couldn't guarantee
That Monday evening you would still be here with me."
I so look forward to Monday nights and thank all who join me. In spite of my lack of sleep from the night before I still looked forward to sharing that creative time with you ALL. That is a great way to start the week! Last night was all about being simple! Here is the page we completed in my 11 X 15 Art Journal:
The materials list was very simple:
Materials: Gesso, Acrylic Paint & Decoupage (DecoArt), Ink (Marvy)
If you missed the LIVE show you can catch the recordings here in two parts...PART I AND PART II:
I am sorry for the technical issues with Ustream that we experienced logging in to Chat. Those are beyond my control but the venue is a FREE place for us to all meet.
For those of you who would like to use the same quote that I used from Pinterest here it is (sorry no link to give credit to the original source):
I am so fortunate to start my week with all of you! I think it important to carve out that creative time for just YOU! I know that I circle all my activities around Monday night and look forward to Monday's!
If you would like to join our Facebook Group just CLICK HERE! This is a great place to stay connected and our place to share our work inspired from Monday's! I love seeing what everyone is posting and seeing our community grow!!
We are LIVE next Monday, June 25th on twStudios UStream Channel at 6:00 pm (Pacific time so check those local time zones). Also, you can "Join" the channel and click on the UPCOMING SHOWS to be reminded of the next show times!
Thank you all for starting my week off in a creative and inspiring way. This week's page was all about simple and just letting it be as it was without adding tons of stuff. Sometimes that is just the perfect sentiment to start your week. Have a great one!

Great show in spite of Ustream issues!! You always have a way of inspiring no matter how tired you are. :) Thanks for sharing your creativity with all of us.
Hugs,
Tanya

I love that song and music! I keep forgetting we are close in age...lol
Fun piece and glad I could pop in...so want to create but I am not able to craft a lot yet, my craft space being downstairs is kicking me for sure.
Thanks for the facebook group

I watched part 1 last night and part 2 at around 6am this morning. :-) If I had to miss most of it at least I could watch it later. I look forward to Monday nights so much!

Once I got on, I did not have any problems with Ustream. Unfortunately, my 28 year old in Phoenix is having some medical issues - hives for the past three weeks - and she called as you began creating. I could not tell her it was not a good time to talk:) I did watch you create though and love the flowers! She is seeing an allergist so we can try and figure out what is going on. She will be coming back to Michigan in 2 1/2 weeks for vacation and it would really be nice if she were over this.

Jean, I totally understand and sorry for those darn Ustream issues...wish I could fix that for all. Prayers for your daughter as I know how hard it is for a mom to be so far way. Sure wish I was heading to Michigan this summer!
