I got so into my project for the Small Image Contest for the 2012 San Diego County Fair that I decided to create just one more piece. This one I made with (4) 3" X 3" canvases and I connected them. I am loving the process of working outside the standard canvas! (thank you Shawna for the idea to stabalize with popsicle sticks!)
I cannot tell you just how much I am enjoying and embracing the creative process just for me....and the inspiration from others has been amazing. I captured some in-between shots as the project came to life...
Here is the FINAL 6" X 6" Canvas:
MATERIALS USED:
Stamp Ink (Colorbox & StayzOn), Stamps (Unity Stamp Co.), Ink (Daler Rowney), Paints and Gesso (DecoArt), Charcoal Pencil, Pen (Faber Castell)
I know I keep saying go big or stay home with the canvas projects but there is something mighty about these small projects! Hope this inspires you to grab some of those tiny canvases and create outside the canvas!

Cute... Even though there weren't any ribbons at the Fair... The fact you entered your work is cool, and I'm sure you brought inspiration to many who saw it. :) Keep on Artin' On LOL!!
