January Guest Designer for Scrapbook Challenges

Wow, I have not created a scrapbook layout in forever!  This month I was asked to be the January Guest Designer for Scrapbook Challenges (thank you for the honor!).  I was hesitant at first because I did not know if I still had a 12 X 12 layout in me!  But once I started it just flowed.  Helmar is a proud sponsor this month so it felt great to just let lose and glue something like the old days. 

The first sketch I was given to work with was Sketch #234:
