So to celebrate the new organization of my flowers and embellishments I thought it was a good time to give something away. But first look at these cool drawers I got from The Container Store. This is my favorite store. It looks and feels like home to me. I needed an easy place for my embellishments and these worked perfectly.
So in honor of the holiday tomorrow and my new storage (hey, I love any reason to celebrate)....I would like to give away some of my favorite things........of course Helmar Adhesives, some awesome Sakura pens and some pretty red flocked/glittered paper by Doodlebug. Nothing beats glue, pens & paper!
How about you leave a comment attached to this post and I will randomly draw on Tuesday, February 17th. Leave me a comment with a favorite Valentine's moment. Just yesterday my college roommate (we also worked together) reminded me of one Valentine's Day that we spent together. We worked downtown Lansing in Michigan and left the office for lunch. After watching couple after couple in the restaurant with men on their knees proposing, dozens of roses being given and couples kissing we decided to drown our single sorrows in a "few" liquid refreshments. I, to this day think back on that day and remember how funny us two single, soured spinsters sounded over that holiday. Thanks J- for that memory! I want to hear about your favorite Valentine's Day so leave a comment!
Tracy....I love those containers. What are they called? Okay...Valentine's Day, my favorite was my first with Mark. He cooked for me, salad, eggplant parmesan, garlic bread & wine. It was the first time a man ever cooked for me. In fact, he is the only man who has ever cooked for me. LOL

My most memorable Valentine's day was in college - a bunch of my friends and I didn't have boyfriends so we all got together and played drove to the city to play bingo. We even stopped at a dollar store to buy Bingo Daubers and everything. It was a very, very silly night and we nearly got kicked out of the Bingo Hall for rowdiness.... LOL.
Anyway. That's it.
Love your Blog Tracy!!

I love the white drawers with the curved front!! Is that all one unit?
A favourite Valentine's Day memory would probably be from today. My daughter is 2 1/2 and we were going to make candy holders for her friends at dance. It *seemed* simple enough, but I should have remembered nothing is simple when you have a toddler helping. An hour later, we have 12 candy holders and a huge mess. I will probably still be finding glue spots on the coffee table months down the road. Thank goodness I decided against buying the glitter!! She is so proud of her creations though and is so excited to take them to give to her friends that it is all worth it. (Although next year maybe we will just buy lollipops....) :)

Hmmm...I guess I haven't had enough coffee yet this morning! Evans and I aren't big valentine "celebraters" because my birthday is next week. We are going to the Bahamas next week, so that is my Valentines gift! Wish all my scrapbook stuff was as organized as yours!

My first good Valentines day was the year I got married. I was a single mother of 5 children and my valentines consisted of home made cards and heart suckers at this point. When I got married my first married valentines day started with a quiet morning. What? no kids waking me up? When I woke up along with the beautiful home made valentines I got my first "big girl" valentine card from Hallmark. Then instead of me making heart pancakes they took me out to breakfast! Then my sil came over and watched the kids while we went to the movies! Such everyday mundane things I had been missing by not having a grown up valnetine.

I love your storage! I really need to get more organized! Okay, I guess I will give you a funny moment from this Valentine's Day. My husband brought home a Sesame Street Valentines card and chocolates for our 3 year old today. She asked us to read her Valentine to her and kept calling it the best story ever. We have been reading her "story" AKA card to her all day. They ae so cute at this age.

My fav Valentine moment happened just about an hour ago. My hubby is camping with his Boy Scouts, so I am home alone with my 5 yr old granddaughter. We went out to dinner - and I decided to order fudge cake for desert. We shared it, when I was finished she continued eating, by the time she was done she was a sticky gooey loveable mess. How I wish I had my camera with me. Was a Kodak moment for sure. I missed out on the photo, but the memory is there to remember.

Your new storage looks fantastic!!! My favorite Valentine's Moment was taking a train to Toronto a few years ago for a few days. We had 2nd row tickets to Barenaked ladies, and had a great time!

I'm always looking for storage ideas!
I remember the first time I ever got flowers from a boy. I was in high school and my boyfriend at the time had a balloon and a couple roses delivered to the school...I thought I was the cat's meow!

I love your new containers, wish we had one of those stores here! Your scrapbook area is so organized. As far as Valentine memories, my dear hubby surprised me with a new trunk bed organizer. It sounds like a weird gift but I got a new hybrid almost a year ago and I've been searching for a trunk liner. Scrapbookers use their vehicle trunks to haul all of their supplies everywhere. So while you were organizing your scrapbook room, I was organizing my vehicle.

My favorite Valentine moment was when I walked into work and found my locker decorated and a beautifully wrapped box with a heart shaped amethyst ring inside in the locker. This was after thinking all morning that J. had forgotten it was Valentine's Day :)

Kudos on the storage! I actually got organized this morning... feels good, doesn't it?! I spent Valentine's Day with my family. Cooked a huge dinner and had my parents and grandparents over. It was nice :)

Several years ago, my husband and son were in the desert camping on Valentines Day, so I was lonely. I decided to have a PARTY! I invited my parents and niece and nephew over. I decorated the kitchen with hearts and flowers and cute paper plates and we baked chocolate chip cookies. And took lots of pictures to scrapbook!

My favorite valentine moment was last year when my girls went out with my dh and he let them pick flowers...they came back with two dozen multi-colored roses...they then banned me from coming downstairs and created the most wonderful gooey sticky valentines I have ever received. These cards are still among my greatest treasures!

Great scrap room. Mine is cluttered beyond belief! Valentine's for me began 12 years ago on the ski slopes with a very cute man who proposed to me. It was so cold, he stuttered out the proposal! At least we blame the cold air and not cold feet!

I continue to be amazed at your organizational skills and creativity. I have such good intentions! A favorite Valentine Memory of mine is the year Cori was in Kindergarten and decided to hand make her Valentines for her class. Back then they had 30 plus in each class so it was no small undertaking. Rainbow Bright was the theme and although I really thought she would give up because it was a very long and tedious process, she worked each evening until they were done and was oh so proud when she passed them out to all of her classmates. Sara followed her sister's lead but only had a small preschool class and was pretty darn proud of herself when she finished before Cori.
