This week I made a commitment to myself to get back to nature and balance. I did just that! I ate great all week and maintained a balanced diet. I have to say it felt great...
I also returned to the gym and outside moving my rear! While the twins participated in a fun run I walked the course 3 times! I took a lunch break at the gym. And tonight I walked over 5 miles around Miramar Lake. It was gorgeous and a great way to get in 5 miles!
I made the time, I made a commitment...I feel better, I saw the scale move and I saw my energy level go up! Was it easy? Heck no! Was it worth it? Heck yes! Am I worth it? Again...heck yes!
It is not how I look or a number on the scale...it is how I feel! Now I am ready to take on a weekend and just be mindful of what I eat.
