What a whirlwind the last two weeks has been. I am back from CHA and was able to update a couple of times while I was there but have more to share. It was a fantastic trip but I was happy to return home. Thanks to my parents who kept the home fires buring while I was away. The kids love being with their grandparents. They have since left and now it is my job to de-program them from their spoiling. I am so lucky to have the best parents ever......more about that to come.
I figured the best way to get caught up is by re-capping Mixed Media Mondays with Tracy Weinzapfel Studios. Last Monday we were back and as promised Glue Dad & Mom not only made a guest appearrance but my dad participated (without prior consent). What a great time we had..... I decided to make some simple pieces for a Coaster Swap that I am organizing and I created four simple but meaningful pieces.
MATERIALS LIST: Paint, Gellos, Decoupage (DecoArt), EMbossing Powder, Ribbon (May Arts), Adhesive (Beacon Fabri-Tac), Stamping Ink (Marvy Heritage, Staz On & Versamark), Stamps (Catslife Press, Bline & Inkadinkado), Mists (Tattered Angels), Punch (Marvy), Artist Ink (Daler Rowney), Pens (Montana), Charcoal Pencil, Gelato (Faber Castell), Water Color Crayons (Caran D Ache)
If you missed the fun LIVE than you can see the recording HERE with my dad and all! (several of you have requested a Spin Off show with Glue Dad)........
I challenged my dad to get creative and he did that on not one but TWO Coasters (what a great sport!).......here is his on-the-spot works of art.....
My dad never ceases to amaze me! Such a great sport!
We had the largest crowd yet and I want to thank you all for joining us. As a reminder here is our calendar for January and February for you to print up (click on to enlarge and print) as a reminder of what we have going on:

"You can be the most beautiful person on the inside and out in the whole wide world, and everybody who sees you is awestruck, but if you yourself don’t see and feel it, none of it matters. Every moment you spend doubting your self-worth – every moment you spend negatively judging yourself – is a tragic moment, for it is a moment of your life that you chose to throw away. Don’t do this. You only have so many moments. The love you seek is seeking you at this very moment, you just have to open up to it."
