I am so blessed to have this little girl in my life.....
Not only is she beautiful on the outside but she is beautiful on the inside. I had the distinct pleasure of getting this special girl ready for her special night at the Father/Daughter dance. We went dress shopping the week before and I have to tell you that the first dress is so fun to try on....dress #27 has a whole other feeling. But after many dresses and shoes.......she picked the most perfect dress. (ok, so mom loves butterflies and had some influence on her selection).
We did her hair and got her all ready. I would not want to miss this opportunity with my Princess for anything in the world. Every little girl should be made to feel like a princess every now and again....
We had a great time getting ready and the best part was the dress (isn't it always about the dress?)....
But this night for me was not about the dress (or any of the 26 others she tried on), the shoes, the hair....it was about this time that I have with my little girl. The years are passing so quickly, the innocence is still there and yet this all seems so fleeting......
These days are passing by and for this mom I don't want to miss one moment......
We are blessed by this Princess in our lives........

Oh yea she is surely a princess! look how beautiful and yes the dress is perfect. Ok, I knew I would cry.
